Willow Tea Towel

View on Ravelry

This was my first serious knitting project. While making it I learned how to long do the tail cast-on, hurdle stitch, seed stitch, I-cord, identify twisted stitches, bind off, and weave in ends. My tension was a bit uneven, but the result was a usable tea towel I was pretty happy with. I seemed to get a lot of bits of cotton on my hands when I used it to dry them, but after a few washes it’s less of a problem.

There’s also a scaled down Willow Dish Cloth pattern and I made a few of those too. I think it works better as a dish cloth than as a tea towel.
