Cheesy biscuits

Makes about 12 biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
 - 3/2 tsp baking powder
 - 1/3 cup sugar
 - 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/2 cup butter
 - 1/2 cup cheddar, grated
 - 1 cup buttermilk
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 ºF.
 - Mix dry ingredients well.
 - Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form.
 - Add cheese and mix.
 - Add buttermilk all at once and stir until all mixed together.
 - Drop spoonfuls on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
 
Notes
- If you don’t have buttermilk, add milk to 1 tbsp lemon juice for 1 cup total liquid and let stand for 10 minutes.
